A boutique law firm specializing in family law and civil litigation is seeking a seasoned Senior Family Law Legal Assistant to join our team. This is a fully remote, full-time opportunity for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
We're looking for a polished professional who can hit the ground running, take ownership of complex cases, and operate with minimal supervision. If you're fluent in both English and Mandarin, deeply familiar with family law procedures, and known for your organization and follow-through, we'd love to hear from you.

40-hour per week schedule (8:30 am - 5:30 pm with one hour lunch break)

Job Details

What You'll Do
  • Manage e-filing of court documents, calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, and coordinate logistics
  • Draft and proofread litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and memos
  • Support attorneys with email correspondence, pleading preparation, and client file management
  • Communicate professionally with clients and opposing counsel
  • Conduct basic legal research, including local rules across various superior courts
  • Scan and digitize records and pleadings with a sharp eye for accuracy
  • Handle data entry and billing-related tasks
  • Assist with firm operations, including website updates, marketing, and lead generation support
  • Provide reception coverage on an as-needed basis
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys and staff throughout the litigation lifecycle

What You Bring
  • 10+ years of experience as a legal assistant in a law firm setting
  • 5+ years of family law experience (strongly preferred)
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English (required)
  • Strong technical skills and comfort with legal software
  • Excellent written, verbal, and analytical communication
  • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize time-sensitive tasks
  • A strong work ethic and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
  • Supervisory or managerial experience is a plus
