Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in Java EE
(JEE) and Angular, and mandatory hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The
ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise-grade applications, working
closely with cross-functional teams across the full development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Full Stack Development
β Design and develop end-to-end web applications using Java EE (JEE) on the backend
and Angular on the frontend.
β Build RESTful and SOAP-based APIs, microservices, and enterprise service
integrations.
β Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
β Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices across the
team.
AWS Cloud Engineering (Mandatory)
β Architect, deploy, and manage applications on AWS using services such as EC2, ECS,
Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, and CloudFront.
β Design CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy or
equivalent tools.
β Implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS best practices for scalability,
reliability, and cost optimization.
β Configure and manage IAM roles, security groups, VPCs, and cloud security controls.
Architecture & Design
β Participate in solution architecture discussions and contribute to technical design
decisions.
β Drive adoption of microservices architecture, event-driven design, and cloud-native
patterns.
β Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization of deployed
systems.
Collaboration & Delivery
β Work in an Agile/Scrum delivery model, actively participating in sprint planning,
stand-ups, and retrospectives.
β Collaborate with architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
β Mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing technical guidance and knowledge
sharing.
β Produce and maintain technical documentation including design specs, runbooks, and
API docs.
Mandatory Technical Skills
Backend β Java EE (JEE)
β 12+ years of Java development experience with strong proficiency in Java EE / Jakarta
EE.
β Expertise in core JEE technologies: Servlets, JSP, EJB, JPA, CDI, JAX-RS, JAX-WS,
JMS.
β Hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring
Security, Spring Data).
β Strong knowledge of ORM frameworks (Hibernate / JPA) and relational databases
(Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
β Experience with microservices design patterns and RESTful API development.
Frontend β Angular
β 5+ years of Angular development experience (Angular 10+).
β Proficiency in TypeScript, RxJS, Angular CLI, Angular Material, and NgRx / state
management.
β Experience building responsive, accessible, and high-performance single-page
applications (SPAs).
β Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and cross-browser compatibility.
AWS (Mandatory)
β Mandatory hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform β minimum 3 years.
β Proficiency with core AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway,
CloudWatch, SQS/SNS.
β Experience with AWS IAM, VPC configuration, security groups, and cloud security
best practices.
β Familiarity with AWS CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
(IaC).
β AWS Certified Developer β Associate or Solutions Architect certification is highly
preferred.
Additional Skills & Experience
β Experience with containerization technologies: Docker and Kubernetes (EKS or
OpenShift).
β Familiarity with messaging systems such as Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ, or AWS
SQS/SNS.
β Knowledge of DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS
CodePipeline.
β Experience with version control using Git and branching strategies (GitFlow).
β Understanding of application security principles: OAuth 2.0, JWT, HTTPS, OWASP
Top 10.
β Exposure to NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, or Redis.
β Experience with monitoring and observability tools: AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, ELK
Stack, or Dynatrace.
Qualifications
β Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a
related field.
β 12+ years of overall software development experience in enterprise environments.
β Demonstrated experience delivering full stack solutions in onshore engagement
models.
β Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
β Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and lead technical
workstreams.
β AWS certification (Developer / Solutions Architect) is a strong advantage.
Nice to Have
β Experience with GraphQL APIs.
β Familiarity with event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka or AWS EventBridge.
β Exposure to AI/ML integrations or AWS AI services (SageMaker, Rekognition,
Bedrock).
β Prior experience in aviation, finance, insurance, or regulated enterprise domains.
β Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
