Guidewire Developer

Job Description:

• Design, configure, and extend Guidewire BillingCenter functionality using Gosu, XML, and Guidewire Studio.
• Implement business rules, workflows, billing plans, invoicing logic, payment handling, and write-offs based on organizational requirements.
• Customize screens, entities, data models, and UI components to support billing operations.

System Integrations:

• Develop and maintain integrations between BillingCenter and external systems (e.g., policy, claims, payment vendors, general ledger, third-party APIs).
• Build and test web services (SOAP/REST), messaging, and batch processes.
• Collaborate with integration teams to ensure data accuracy and seamless E2E billing lifecycle.
• Work with business analysts, architects, and project managers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Support rollouts, deployments, and ongoing maintenance of BillingCenter environments.

Required Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of development experience with Guidewire applications; BillingCenter experience required.
• Strong proficiency in Gosu, Java, XML, and Guidewire Studio.
• Experience with Guidewire Configuration and Integration frameworks.
• Strong understanding of P&C insurance billing domains (e.g., invoicing, payments, delinquency rules, installments).
• Exposure to SOAP/RESTful APIs, messaging, and batch processes.
• Familiarity with tools like Git, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, or similar.
