Network Engineer JD
Knowledge of LAN
Knowledge of WAN - MPLS, SDWan, P2P
Security and Hardering (ACL. Prefix-list)
Routing Engineering PBR, rotuing protocols, BGP and OSPF
Troubleshooting skins
VPNs
Troubleshooting skills and tools as Wireshark
Wirelles Controllers and Client
Basic Load Balancing skills
Networking Strategic Advisor
Job Grade description:
- Conducts feasibility studies on strategic and tactical plans, design of digital/analog networks and evaluation of network services / technology for current and future network development.
- Performs complex technical analysis of software, hardware and network systems, systems integration for front-end processors, multiplexes, LAN/WAN communications, network nodes, switches and various transmission system.
- Serves as leading contributor within one or more major projects and is recognized internally as the highest level technical subject matter expert.
Skills:
- Expert knowledge of network performance, network administration and troubleshooting techniques.
- Mastery knowledge of network related hardware and software (including routers, switches, TCP/IP, Ethernet, VPNs, Firewalls, etc.).
- Mastery understanding of security issues and implications to network solutions.
Typical Years of Experience
- Typically requires 15+ years relevant experience.
- Minimum Education and Certifications
- Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
- Ability to physically perform general office requirements.
- Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations. Client travel including overnight domestic or international trips may be required.
