Summary
This is a remote position.
Project Overview
This project includes changes to EDI healthcare transactions for the Medicaid system. This position will be responsible for making software coding changes to existing EDI healthcare transactions. Testing of these changes will include coordination and validation with external healthcare providers and trading partners.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Translator Team to implement changes, enhancements, and recommendations based on technical and design specifications
- Analyze, debug, unit test, and integration test software coding changes
- Support Quality Assurance staff during QA, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and External Testing by implementing required code updates
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements for federally and state-mandated changes
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations
- Communicate effectively through clear written documentation and verbal discussions
- Collaborate with internal staff and external contracted teams to support project objectives
Requirements
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience with Actian DataConnect
- 5+ years of experience with Axiom TransSend
- 3+ years of experience with Pervasive Designer data mapping
- 3+ years of experience with Visual Basic
- 5+ years of experience working with the SoSC Medicaid program
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt quickly, work independently, solve problems analytically, manage time effectively, and perform well in high-pressure environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Java.
- Experience with JavaScript
