Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner with strong technical leadership capabilities to drive the development, stability, and continuous improvement of the Argus TMS platform. This role bridges business and technology, ensuring seamless translation of business needs into scalable, high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities Product Ownership & Requirements - Act as the primary Product Owner, gathering and refining business requirements directly from clients.
- Translate requirements into technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clarity, feasibility, and value delivery.
Technical Leadership - Serve as the technical owner of the Argus TMS platform supporting ~7,000 active users.
- Provide end-to-end technical guidance across UI, API, and database layers.
- Drive architectural decisions, performance tuning, and troubleshooting initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, system security, and best practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration - Coordinate with UI/UX, API, and Database teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
- Work closely with Rootlogik and internal teams to support reporting platforms and integrations.
- Act as a key point of contact between business, engineering, and external partners.
Release & Deployment Management - Lead release planning, version control, and deployment scheduling across environments.
- Execute deployments via CI/CD pipelines, ensuring zero-downtime releases.
- Maintain and optimize deployment workflows, automation scripts, and pipelines.
System Reliability & Operations - Ensure high availability, stability, and performance of the TMS platform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents across UI, API, database, and infrastructure layers.
- Monitor system health and proactively address potential issues.
Code Quality & Development Oversight - Review Angular UI code for quality, performance, and accessibility.
- Maintain and enhance legacy ASPX applications, ensuring smooth integration with modern systems.
- Enforce best practices in development, testing, and documentation.
Security & Identity Management - Lead and maintain ADFS Single Sign-On (SSO) implementation.
- Manage certificates, monitor uptime, and troubleshoot authentication issues.
Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities for performance optimization, UI/UX enhancements, and operational efficiency.
- Drive innovation and improvements across the platform and development processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills - Strong experience with Angular (modern versions), Java, Spring boot and micro service experience and databases (Postgres/SQL)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience in system architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with SSO/ADFS and security best practices
Product & Leadership Skills - Proven experience as a Product Owner / Technical Lead / Techno-functional role
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience managing product backlogs, releases, and stakeholder communication
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Ability to work across cross-functional and distributed teams
