Title: UX Engineer / Design Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 12+ Months
We want a UX Engineer/design engineer at the centre of the pod - UX and product design is their strong suit, and they are also comfortable in a React codebase so they can prototype, polish, and ship frontend in partnership with the pod''s engineers.
Mandatory Skills: UX Product Design, Frontend code, Demonstrated AI tool fluency
The person we are looking for
· UX-first, code-fluent. Their primary craft is UX and product design - research, flows, interaction, visual polish. They also read and write React/TypeScript well enough to prototype, ship real frontend alongside the pod''s engineers, and own the fidelity of what gets merged. Not a 50/50 full-stack designer; a designer who codes.
· AI-native by default. Uses Claude / Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or Copilot, v0, Figma Make as everyday tools — not experiments. Can tell us a concrete story about how these changed the way they shipped something recently.
· Builder. Has a portfolio of work shipped in the last year, a GitHub or personal site, and a bias toward putting something clickable in front of a user this week rather than a deck next month.
· Craft-first. Cares about motion, density, accessibility, empty states — the details that separate a good product from a great one.
· Clear, warm communicator. Can walk you through a design decision in a few sentences and listen well.
· Domain curious. Healthcare, pharmacy, EHR, or clinical SaaS experience is a strong plus, not a requirement.
