Location: Remote


Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with strong expertise in Network Infrastructure, Vulnerability Management, and Patching Operations to lead enterprise infrastructure and security remediation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background combined with proven project management experience managing cross-functional teams, infrastructure upgrades, vulnerability remediation programs, and enterprise patch management efforts.
This role requires strong coordination skills, technical understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments, and the ability to drive projects from initiation through successful delivery while ensuring compliance, security, and operational stability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage infrastructure and security-related projects focused on network modernization, vulnerability remediation, and patch deployment.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, security, operations, cloud, and application teams to ensure timely execution of remediation activities.
  • Manage enterprise vulnerability management programs including tracking, prioritization, remediation planning, and reporting.
  • Oversee patch management processes across servers, network devices, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
  • Drive project planning activities including scope definition, timelines, resource allocation, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to address critical vulnerabilities and security incidents.
  • Facilitate change management, CAB meetings, and release coordination activities.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers and proactively develop mitigation plans.
  • Maintain project documentation, dashboards, metrics, and executive reports.
  • Coordinate vendor engagements and third-party infrastructure support activities.

Required Skills
  • 8+ years of experience in Technical Project Management or Infrastructure Project Management.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Network Infrastructure
    • Vulnerability Management
    • Patch Management Processes
    • Infrastructure Operations
  • Experience managing enterprise remediation and infrastructure upgrade projects.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability scanning and remediation tools such as:
    • Tenable
    • Qualys
    • Rapid7
  • Familiarity with patching technologies and operating environments including:
    • Windows Server
    • Linux/Unix
    • Network Devices
    • VMware
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts:
    • Routing & Switching
    • Firewalls
    • VPN
    • Load Balancers
    • Data Center Infrastructure
  • Experience with ITSM and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
  • Strong project management skills including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Experience working in highly regulated enterprise environments.
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards:
    • NIST
    • CIS
    • ISO 27001
    • PCI-DSS
  • Experience with reporting and dashboard tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
