Role: Sitecore Developer
Location: Remote (US-based candidates only)
Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Duration: 12-15 months
Job Summary:
We are hiring Sitecore Developers for a large-scale website redesign and modernization project for a public-sector insurance organization. The project involves building a modern, accessible, and high-performing website using Sitecore and Microsoft technologies. The solution must support dynamic content management, seamless integrations, and enhanced user experience, while adhering to strict accessibility, security, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Create prototypes and contribute to high-level solution design
- Design and implement Sitecore site architecture, templates, and components
- Develop and manage content, landing pages, and micro-sites
- Configure and enhance content workflows within Sitecore
- Implement interactive features and personalization capabilities
- Optimize graphical elements and user experience
- Conduct peer programming / co-development with client teams
- Develop and execute unit test plans and scripts
- Perform code check-ins regularly (source control)
- Participate in sprint reviews, demos, and peer code reviews
- Remediate vulnerability defects and user test defects
- Ensure compliance with web accessibility standards (WCAG)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years hands-on experience with Sitecore 10 (.NET)
Strong understanding of:
o Site structure, navigation, and page design in Sitecore
o SEO principles and technical optimization
Proficiency in:
o C#, ASP.NET, MVC
o HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks
- Strong collaboration skills across design, content, and marketing teams
Mandatory Requirements (MUST HAVE)
· Must have active Sitecore 10 .NET certification
· Developer must provide:
3 prior Sitecore website work samples (very imp)
Experience & Deliverables
- Sitecore architecture, templates, and component development
- Content development and workflow management
- Personalization, targeting, and analytics tools
- Experience with interactive features and optimization
- Collaboration with UI/UX and business teams
Must support:
- CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and static code scanning
- Unit testing and test script development
- Secure coding practices (OWASP)
- Client SDLC and Agile methodology
- Participate in peer programming with client teams
- Remediate vulnerabilities before deployment
