Job Description:
Apex Systems is hiring a Data Engineer (SQL + Snowflake) for a large Healthcare client.

Location: Fully remote anywhere in the United States

Employment Type: 6-month contract with possibility to extend or convert.

Role Overview

Our team works collaboratively to standardize data collection from all our web & mobile properties.

In addition, we are also the team responsible for making the connection between offline data (call center etc.) and online data available. We are motivated, self-starters willing to push the limits of technology to simplify work and achieve the best outcomes. This role will provide support to build pipelines, validate and get data ready for consumption in dashboards and reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines from diverse data sources.
  • Design and optimize Snowflake schemas and data models.
  • Develop clean, reliable datasets for Power BI dashboards and metric storehouses.
  • Partner with analytics and BI teams to translate business needs into data solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and performance across pipelines
  • Provide power BI dashboards and support for various teams

The role is unique as it will partner with our Adobe AEP CDP and also Adobe CJA team to enrich the data and have the ability to power customer and provider 360's.

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) or equivalent experience.

Experience: Requires 2 to 4 years of related experience in below:
  • Expertise in SQL and hands on Snowflake development.
  • Experience integrating disparate datasets.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling (star schema, dimensional models).
  • Familiarity with Python and data orchestration tools (Airflow, ADF, dbt a plus).
  • Collaborative mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Healthcare experience is a plus!


Technical Skills:

SQL & Snowflake expertise

Experience with connecting large and disparate datasets

Experience with online/digital datasets

Soft Skills: The role requires the ability to identify basic problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Candidates should be able to work independently and seek to acquire knowledge in their area of specialty.

Compensation & Benefits

The pay rate for this position is between $50.00 and $60.00 per hour.
