Position Overview:
Ford is looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with strong expertise in React and Node.js to build and enhance Guest Experience (Guest XP) platforms that support vehicle service appointment journeys. This role is fully onsite and involves close collaboration in an Agile / Extreme Programming (XP) environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance Guest XP applications using React and Node.js
Work in a pair-programming, iterative development environment
Build customer-centric features driven by user interviews and rapid feedback
Apply clean code principles including TDD, refactoring, and self-documenting code
Collaborate with product, engineering, and UI/UX teams
Help define and evolve team culture, engineering standards, and best practices

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
7+ years of experience practicing clean code principles (TDD, XP, refactoring)
5+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
5+ years of experience with front-end frameworks such as React (preferred), Angular, or Vue.js
Strong backend development experience with Node.js
Experience working in Agile / XP-based teams

Preferred Qualifications:
Master s degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG), tools, and testing
Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
Strong collaboration with UI/UX designers
Automotive, mechanical, or engineering domain empathy
