Systems Analyst for Oracle eBusiness Systems

Job Description

We are seeking a Systems Analyst with strong experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.10.

The Analyst will work with minimal supervision and provide functional application support for customizations and extensions across:

Finance Modules

Oracle Projects

This is a production support-focused role, requiring daily interaction with business users and collaboration within a large Oracle support team.

Core Responsibilities

Provide functional and limited technical support for:

Finance Modules (AR, AP, GL, CM, FA, iExpense, iSupplier)

Oracle Projects (Costing, Billing, Accounting)

Troubleshoot production issues and identify root cause

Distinguish between standard Oracle functionality and customizations

Write SQL queries and use diagnostic scripts for data analysis

Generate ad-hoc reports to assess impact and issue magnitude

Create data correction scripts for inconsistencies

Conduct UAT, conference room pilots, and regression testing

Follow Change Management and SOX controls (if applicable)

Document incidents using tools such as Helix

Coordinate with Oracle Support for patch validation and issue resolution

Required Qualifications

Bachelor s degree (Accounting preferred) OR 5+ years relevant industry experience

5 7 years of hands-on experience supporting Oracle EBS Finance and/or Projects

Strong understanding of:

Subledger to General Ledger data flow

EBS Data Model & Architecture (Finance & Projects)

3+ years experience with SQL / PL-SQL (Required)

Ability to understand programming logic used in:

Workflow

Oracle Apex

BI Publisher Reports

Strong customer-facing communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of Oracle Apex development experience

Experience in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban)

Multi-developer team environment experience

Experience with regression testing and full change lifecycle management
