Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Systems Engineer for Simulation and Training Products. Our products are used to represent the world's most advanced combat systems, supporting a variety of mission areas and uses. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of systems engineering principles and system integration and test.

Basic Qualifications

-B.S. in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

-Foundation in systems engineering principles, including requirements allocation, system integration and test or Linux/Unix based real-time systems.

-Familiarity with programming languages such as C++/C.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired skills

-Knowledge of Model-Based Engineering, Model-Driven.
Architecture, and/or Systems Modeling Language (SysML).

-Experience with system integration and testing associated with software requirements verification and software system regression.

-Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and tools such as JIRA.

-Familiarity with UNIX and LINUX.

-Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skill.

-Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills required.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

The base range for this position in New Jersey is $61,500 - $116,455.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
