Job Description:

• Lead and mentor a team of mainframe cobol, db2, vsam, jcl, mainframe cics developers in designing, developing, and testing mainframe applications.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle of mainframe projects from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
• Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure the quality of deliverables.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to mainframe cobol, db2, vsam, jcl, and mainframe cics applications.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to recommend process improvements and innovative solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security and data protection regulations in all mainframe development activities.

Skill Requirements:

• Proficiency in mainframe cobol programming language.
• Strong knowledge of mainframe db2, vsam, and jcl.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively lead a technical team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast paced environment

• Relevant certifications in Mainframe Cobol, DB2, VSAM, JCL, Mainframe CICS are a plus.
• Experience with mainframe cics in a production environment.
• Solid understanding of mainframe architecture and system software.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
