Job Description
The HL7 Cloverleaf Integrations Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of healthcare interface solutions using the Infor Cloverleaf Integration Engine. This position plays a critical role in supporting interoperability between clinical, administrative, and operational systems within a healthcare environment. The manager leads a team of integration analysts and developers, collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, and ensures interfaces comply with industry standards such as HL7, FHIR, and HIPAA.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the interface team in developing and maintaining HL7 interfaces and X12 EDIs (835 and 837) using Cloverleaf.
- Oversee the design, implementation, testing, and support of data exchanges between internal systems (EHRs, LIS, RIS, billing, etc.) and external partners (labs, HIEs, payers, etc.).
- Monitor and troubleshoot interface issues, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to gather interface requirements and deliver solutions.
- Assess, define, document and maintain a sustainable SDLC and make sure the Engineering team members stick to the defined process.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and other relevant privacy and security regulations.
- Coordinate interface projects including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
- Establish and enforce interface development standards and best practices.
- Manage vendor relationships and serve as point of contact for third-party integrations involving Cloverleaf.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in HL7 interface development, with at least 5 years in a managerial or team lead role.
- Proven experience with Infor Cloverleaf Integration Engine (versions 6.x or later).
- Strong understanding of HL7 (v2.x, v3), FHIR, CCD/C-CDA, and other healthcare data standards.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (TCL, JavaScript, etc.) used within Cloverleaf and knowledge of SQL and Azure.
- Experience with clinical systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Allscripts) preferred.
- Strong project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
- 8+ years of experience in HL7 interface development, with at least 5 years in a managerial or team lead role.
- Proven experience with Infor Cloverleaf Integration Engine (versions 6.x or later).
- Strong understanding of HL7 (v2.x, v3), FHIR, CCD/C-CDA, and other healthcare data standards.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (TCL, JavaScript, etc.) used within Cloverleaf and knowledge of SQL and Azure.
