Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Performance Testing Architect with expertise in Performance Testing, Performance Engineering, and Architecture-Level Performance Optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with JMeter, performance engineering methodologies, and mobile banking applications. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing system performance, identifying bottlenecks, recommending architectural improvements, and driving measurable performance enhancements across applications and services.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering.

• Strong expertise in JMeter including:

  • Test plan creation

  • Correlation and parameterization

  • Assertions

  • Groovy/BeanShell scripting

  • Distributed load execution

• Experience designing and executing:

  • Load Testing

  • Stress Testing

  • Soak/Endurance Testing

  • Spike Testing

  • Scalability Testing

• Strong understanding of performance metrics:

  • Response Time/Latency

  • Throughput

  • Error Rates

  • Concurrency

• Experience reviewing application architecture and providing performance optimization recommendations.

• Hands-on experience with Mobile Banking Applications.

• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON payloads, authentication mechanisms, and tools such as Postman.

• Experience with Git (branching, merging, pull requests, repository management).

• Familiarity with APM and monitoring tools such as:

  • Dynatrace

  • New Relic

  • AppDynamics

  • Azure Monitor

• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across:

  • Application Layer

  • Service Layer

  • Database Layer

• Experience with test data preparation, environment management, and dependency coordination.

• Excellent analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI/ML tools and technologies.

• Exposure to AI-driven performance engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess application architecture and recommend performance improvements from an architectural perspective.

• Design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies and test plans.

• Identify system bottlenecks and perform root cause analysis.

• Analyze telemetry and monitoring data to drive performance optimization.

• Implement recommended improvements and ensure measurable performance gains.

• Prepare detailed performance reports with insights, trends, and optimization recommendations.

• Collaborate closely with Developers, Architects, QA, DevOps, and Product teams.

• Communicate performance risks, findings, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proactively identify and mitigate performance risks throughout the project lifecycle.
