Job DescriptionA TEKsystems Structured Cabling partner is seeking an experienced
DAS Technician to support the installation of a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) at Bayshore Hospital in Long Island. The ideal candidate will have strong experience installing and terminating -inch coaxial cable in healthcare or commercial construction environments.
Primary Responsibilities- Install cable support structures (J-hooks, tray, conduit, and other structured pathways)
- Install, route, and secure -inch coax cable through:
- Ceilings
- Risers
- Conduits
- Structured cabling pathways
- Perform DAS coax cable termination, including:
- Cutting coax cable to length
- Stripping cable jacket
- Exposing and cleaning the conductor
- Installing connectors
- Cleaning and testing terminations to DAS standards
Required Skills & Qualifications- Proven experience installing support structures for cabling
- Hands-on experience running and securing -inch coax cable
- Strong DAS coax termination skills
- Familiarity working in hospital environments
- OSHA 30 certification
- SST card (NYC/NY State)
Nice-to-Have Skills- Scissor lift certification or experience

- Ability to follow safety protocols and work in occupied healthcare facilities

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
