Genesis10 is currently seeking a Lead ETL Developer - Hybrid for a contract to hire position with a Major Financial Institution located in Strongsville, OH. As a Lead Developer for the Enterprise Consumption Layer (ECL), this role involves leading the technical design and development of data solutions. The ideal candidate will provide technical guidance, drive the team forward, and facilitate complex problem resolution within the banking domain.
Responsibilities: - Create and lead the technical design and development of software solutions
- Propose and design software solutions to address complex business needs
- Prepare technical and procedural documentation
- Facilitate complex problem resolution and provide technical guidance to colleagues
- Perform data development, profiling, sourcing, design, and mapping
- Create, document, and maintain Source to Target Mapping (STM)
- Manage projects, delegate tasks, and provide leadership to the team
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in Data Management and Data Governance principles
- Experience from end-to-end of the development cycle (intake, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment)
- Extensive experience and proficiency in data development
- Previous experience in the Banking Domain with an advanced understanding of banking products and processes
- Proficient in database systems (Teradata) and languages, with expert-level SQL
- Proficient in Data Warehousing concepts
- Proficient in ETL development (Informatica)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to balance priorities and multi-task
Desired skills: - Experience with CA7 or another job scheduler
- Experience with Data Architecture or Data Modeling
- Familiarity with Jira
Pay range: $63.86 - $71.86 per hour
