Camunda BPM Expert/Camunda Technical Lead

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in workflow automation and BPM technologies.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Camunda BPM (Camunda 7 or Camunda 8).
• Strong understanding of:
o BPMN 2.0
o DMN
o Process Modeling
o Workflow Orchestration
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and Git-based development practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement business workflows using Camunda BPM (Camunda 7/8).
Develop and maintain BPMN 2.0| DMN| and workflow orchestration solutions.
Integrate Camunda with enterprise applications| APIs| databases| and cloud services.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into workflow solutions.
Develop custom services| connectors| and process automation components.
Troubleshoot workflow execution issues and optimize process performance.
Implement monitoring| logging| and operational dashboards for workflow visibility.
Participate in solution architecture| technical design reviews| and code reviews.
Ensure adherence to security| scalability| and compliance requirements.
Support production releases and provide Level-3 support for workflow-related issues.

Camunda certifications.
Experience with Zeebe Workflow Engine (Camunda 8).
Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture.
Experience with observability tools such as Grafana| Prometheus| and ELK.
Exposure to financial services| banking| capital markets| or insurance domains.
Experience integrating workflow platforms with AI/GenAI solutions.

Education
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science| Information Technology| Engineering| or related field.
Nice-to-Have for Capital Markets/BFSI Experience automating trade processing| settlements| corporate actions| onboarding| risk management| or regulatory workflows.
Understanding of SWIFT| FIX| ISO 20022| or DTCC-related processes.
