Senior Software DeveloperOASYS, INC., a Leading-Edge Government contractor in Huntsville Alabama, is seeking applicants for a Senior Software Developer position supporting our US Army customer.
Job Responsibilities include: The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for design and development of embedded software for military systems. The Senior Software Developer will perform development activities for the full life cycle of a software program.
Duties may include requirements analysis, design, coding, integration, test, documentation, and support. The candidate will also participate in software team meetings, hardware and software design reviews, and technical interchange meetings. The software engineering process also empowers the candidate to work with Cyber, Safety, Operations, and Test organizations to deliver high quality working software. The candidates will work in a team environment, with well-defined goals, supporting both new and legacy embedded systems. The candidate is able to receive timely feedback on software implementation by working directly with the customer, ensuring Agility and delivering a software product that fills immediate needs.
Minimum Requirements: - 9+ years' of work experience
- C/C++ and other Object Oriented Languages.
- Agile Development Experience, specifically Scrum.
- Continuous Integration and Automation.
- OO programming and design, including writing unit tests.
- Microsoft AzureDevOps.
- Experience with Git, SVN.
- Linux.
- MS Visual Studio.
Required Education: A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (STEM, computer science, or computer engineering, etc.) is required. Advanced degree preferred.
Eligibility: Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance. An Active Secret Clearance is highly desired.
