Job DescriptionFlexStaff is seeking an
Electrical Project Engineer for our Client, a leading global manufacturer of power systems, located in Hudson Valley Region, NY.
In this role you will be providing high level technical support to the field technicians, engineering and customer base.
Qualifications:- BS degree in electrical engineering.
- Minimum 7 years' field experience in the power industry in either the military or commercial markets or equivalent experience.
- Complete understanding of electronic principles and UPS applications.
- Must have completed training for all UPS equipment or equivalent experience.
- Experience with SCR and IGBT power circuits.
- Experience adjusting computerized electrical power control systems.
- Experience with mechanical bearing assemblies and vibration analysis.
Other requirements:- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Possess a valid U.S. Passport.
- Must be able to qualify for a Canadian work permit.

Responsibilities:- Manage all product documentation, including startup procedures, programming procedures, operator manuals, sales specifications, spare parts lists, option descriptions, and production test procedures.
- Assist with service documentation development.
- Provide support to projects, engineers, and field technicians.
- Oversee the NCR process.
- Participate in product quality meetings.
- Interface with Project, Engineering, and Operations departments as needed.
- Escalate service and product quality issues to the National Service Operations Manager.
- Perform equipment inspections and testing in the U.S. and Germany when required.
- Support training programs and conduct training classes.
- Provide technicians with required software tools.
- Write, evaluate, and approve MOPs for field service.
- Support Root Cause Analysis report writing and coordinate distribution with the National Service Operations Manager and VP of Operations.
- Provide onsite technical support for issues requiring engineering-level assistance.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
