Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Develop and write precise CNC programs for 5 Axis machines.
- Select the appropriate tools and determine the sequence of operations for each job.
- Perform complex programming tasks using CAD/CAM software.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions of finished work.
- Operate CNC lathe and mill machines to produce components as per the design specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and programs.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative solutions for complex design challenges.
- Continually update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and staying abreast of advances in CNC programming technology.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in the engineering industry.
- Proficiency in programming and operating 5 Axis machines.
- Extensive knowledge of machining operations and procedures.
- Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- Experience in operating CNC lathe and mill machines.
- Strong understanding of CAD/CAM software.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A degree or diploma in a relevant field is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proven track record of adhering to safety procedures and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
- Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
