IT Manager

Vaco Technology is recruiting for an IT Manager direct hire role located in Terre Haute IN. This is a 100% on-site position. 

The IT Manager oversees IT operations and staff to ensure reliable, customer-focused technology services that support company goals. Responsibilities include team leadership, budgeting, asset management, project oversight, service delivery, and strategic technology planning.

Major Responsibilities

• Lead IT operations, service delivery, and staff development.
• Serve as the primary IT liaison between company leadership and the IT shared services team.  
• Promote excellent customer service, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Help manage IT staff, budgets, resources, and hardware/software assets.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and change management procedures.
• Oversee IT projects, Helpdesk operations, incident resolution, and SLA performance.
• Collaborate with system and network administrators to meet company technology needs.

Experience and Qualifications

• Three to five years of IT supervisory experience, including staffing, budgeting, and IT asset management.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to develop teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver projects on schedule.
• Knowledge of IT operations, networking, Voiceover IP, Active Directory, DHCP, information security, desktop management, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Experience with change management and process improvement.
