Description- Performing a variety of technical functions in support of engineering activities such as troubleshooting, test, modification, assembly, and maintenance and repair of electronic systems and other specialized avionics equipment
- Evaluating components, subsystems, test equipment, and software
- Providing technical support to Air Force customers on operations and maintenance of assigned communications/surveillance equipment
- Performing aircraft installation, troubleshooting, and testing of equipment
- Supporting aircraft flight test and engineering evaluations of new systems and system configurations
- Assisting in training junior level electronics technicians and Air Force personnel to perform general fabrication, assembly, test and evaluation, and documentation tasks
- Deploying worldwide with AFSOC personnel in support of exercise and contingency operations including hostile environments
FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING#LI-TF1
Requirements- Minimum of five (5) years of aircraft avionics maintenance experience, JTWS equipment experience, or equivalent DoD SIGINT experience
- Must be able to operate as a single maintainer at either CONUS or OCONUS locations to include hostile areas
Desired Skills- Eight (8) plus years of experience with AFSOC, AF or DoD SIGINT/COMINT, EW, Guidance & Control or Comm/Nav systems
- Knowledge of AF and AFSOC organizational structure
- Knowledge of DoD SIGINT/COMINT employment concepts
- Familiarity with USAF, AFSOC aircraft maintenance concepts, practices, and procedures
- CompTIA Security+ certified or within 12 months
Clearance InformationSRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET / SCI ELIGIBILITYTravel Requirements- up to 50% including OCONUS deployments and CONUS TDYs
