Overview:

The Sr Quality Analyst tests web applications and software to ensure standards are met by reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documentation, identifying risks to system functionality, creating test plans and executing test cases.

Responsibilities:

• Writes and maintains test automation.
• Develops, publishes, and implements test plans.
• Develops quality assurance standards.
• Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
• Provides post-release support related to defect analysis, scalability, and workflow.
• Communicates directly with management and the development team regarding test objectives, requirements, and results.
• Completes all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting.
• Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of significant Quality Assurance background, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Significant experience with industry leading Quality Assurance related tools.
• Significant experience testing web applications.
• Proven excellence in solving complex problems related to software testing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient skills in analysis, documentation, and presentation tools, such as Microsoft Word Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.

Experience in the following areas valued:

• A background in the healthcare industry
• Development/programming experience
• Knowledge of RDBMS fundamentals

Mental Requirements:

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously.
• Skilled in iterative development cycles with frequent releases and experience with “Scrum” methodologies.
• Experience with healthcare data, preferred.
• Knowledge of public cloud (AWS/OCI), preferred.
• Experience operating in an Agile environment, preferred.
• Experience testing web application built on Angular, preferred

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Must be able to provide high-speed internet access / connectivity and office setup and maintenance.
• Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.
• No adverse environmental conditions expected.
