Summary

We are looking for Desktop Support Specialist for our client in Newport Beach, CA
Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist
Job Location: Newport Beach, CA
Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
Pay Range: $25hr - $37hr
  • Provide technical support for desktop systems, hardware, and standard applications across the organization.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain PCs and related equipment while ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
  • Support end users through troubleshooting, incident management, and proactive system monitoring.

Requirements/Must Have:

  • 1 3 years of experience in a technical support or desktop support role.
  • Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with strong organizational skills and minimal supervision.
  • Experience troubleshooting desktop hardware including PCs, monitors, and printers.
  • Experience with Mac operating systems and Apple devices.
  • Valid driver s license and ability to travel to remote sites.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure new PCs using standard software and imaging tools.
  • Reimage and redeploy systems while ensuring complete data removal.
  • Maintain inventory of hardware and update asset tracking systems.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for end users.
  • Provide support for desktop operating systems and standard applications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution.
  • Manage loaner equipment and coordinate repairs and replacements.
  • Perform incident management and maintain documentation.
  • Monitor system tools and analyze trends to proactively manage the environment.
  • Support installation, configuration, upgrades, and testing of desktop technologies.
  • Ensure proper disposal of electronic waste according to policy.

Qualification And Education:

  • High school diploma or GED with relevant experience required.

Should Have:
