Senior Consultant Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4 (Platform Deployment)

We are seeking a Senior Consultant with strong experience in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) 4 to support platform deployment and enablement activities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with development teams using OpenShift as an application platform and advising on best practices for containerized application development and deployment.
This role focuses on application platform usage and developer enablement rather than deep infrastructure engineering. Familiarity with software development workflows on OpenShift is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Support deployment, configuration, and operational readiness of OpenShift Container Platform 4
Advise development teams on application development and deployment best practices on OpenShift
Assist with containerization of applications and onboarding workloads to OpenShift
Provide guidance on CI/CD integration, image management, and application lifecycle management within OpenShift
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure platform adoption aligns with development needs
Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues impacting application teams
Document configurations, standards, and recommended practices
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4
Solid understanding of containerized application development and Kubernetes concepts
Experience supporting or working closely with software development teams on OpenShift
Familiarity with OpenShift CLI (oc), YAML manifests, and Git-based workflows
Experience deploying and managing applications in a cloud-native environment
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
.NET application development experience (highly desirable)
Experience deploying or modernizing .NET applications on OpenShift
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
Experience with container build strategies (Dockerfile, Source-to-Image)
