Role: Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ- (Onsite / Field-Based)
Travel: Local travel to 15+ sites within the metro area

We have three (3) Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer (Resident) openings supporting a client in the Phoenix metro area. These are 12 24-month contracts within a highly hands-on, on-premise infrastructure environment across multiple sites.
This is a senior-level technical generalist role focused on supporting network, systems, and data center infrastructure. Candidates must be comfortable working directly with hardware, traveling between sites, and supporting critical, mission-driven environments. The ideal candidate brings strong experience across networking, infrastructure, and data center operations, and is comfortable operating in a regulated, high-safety environment supporting mission-critical systems.
Work Environment: ~90% On-Prem
Must-Have Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking and Palo Alto firewalls
- Background supporting data center environments (racking, cabling, power, cooling)
- Experience with VMware and general infrastructure support
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, patch management, and system lifecycle support
- Experience working in multi-site environments
- Must be local to Phoenix and able to travel between sites
- Must have a clean safety record (work is performed in a regulated facility)
Additional experience with Cohesity, Splunk, ManageEngine, or Dell infrastructure is a plus.
