Job DescriptionYou will be the Material Review Board Engineering ASC Manager for the Fort Worth Second-Shift MRB team which is responsible for managing non-conforming material across the F-35 delivery chain.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Material Review Board Engineering ASC Manager you will coordinate daily tasks, provide technical guidance, and drive continuous improvement for the MRB process. You will act as the primary liaison between the MRB team, leadership, and customers to ensure timely disposition of non-conforming material.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate daily task assignments and ensure on-time completion of MRB actions.
- Lead technical reviews, provide guidance, and approve disposition decisions.
- Interface with senior leadership and customers to communicate needs and status.
- Forecast staffing needs, drive hiring, and develop training programs for the team.
- Collaborate with the L5 Manager to analyze performance metrics and refine MRB policies.

Basic QualificationsBachelors degree in mechanical, aeronautical, or civil engineering. Equivalent engineering degree from an accredited college is also acceptable. Must have minimum 5 years of related design or MRB combined experience.
This position will require a Secret government security clearance.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired skillsStrong leader and team player to help develop and manage a high performing team of salaried professionals. Prior MRB certification and/or related design experience using aircraft composites, metals, systems wiring, fluid systems, ducting, or finishes on a 5th generation aircraft. A basic-to-advanced understanding of a wide range of engineering principles applied to high performing aircraft including structural load paths, strength and DaDT analyses. Familiarity with production processes, tooling, and methods of manufacturing.
Familiarity with LM Tools and Processes is a plus: QADS, Apriso, Solumina, ServiceFlo, SFM, PDM, CATIA, VAS, ALIS. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office suite.
Applicant should possess demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with USG Customers including local DCMA, JPO, Lightning Support Team reps, and/or SPO representatives.

Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
