RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Salt Lake City, UT.
Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Logistics Coordinator to support distribution center and transportation operations within a temperature-controlled supply chain environment. This role is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining logistics documentation, monitoring transportation activities, and ensuring accurate reporting and inventory movement.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, warehouse operations, or a related field
* Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
* Understanding of transportation scheduling, freight coordination, and shipping documentation
* Familiarity with inventory control processes and shipment tracking
* Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and reporting tools
* Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience supporting temperature-controlled, food distribution, or cold chain operations
* Knowledge of transportation compliance and regulatory requirements
* Experience with carrier management and freight performance reporting
* Exposure to process improvement initiatives and operational KPI reporting
* Experience working in high-volume distribution or warehouse environments
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
