Summary

Senior UX Designer

Location: Plano, TX
Duration: 12 months

We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to join a high-performing, cross-organizational design team focused on enhancing member experiences across digital products. In this role, you will collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and stakeholders to design intuitive, user-centered solutions.

You will lead UX execution across complex initiatives, translating business goals and research insights into impactful design solutions that improve usability and engagement. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and is confident navigating complex enterprise systems and product ecosystems.

A portfolio demonstrating relevant digital product design experience is required.



Key Responsibilities




  • Lead UX design execution for large-scale, complex digital projects.


  • Translate business objectives, user research insights, and product requirements into effective user-centered design solutions.


  • Design end-to-end digital experiences across responsive web and mobile applications.


  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using modern UX design tools.


  • Facilitate cross-functional design sessions and collaborate with product, engineering, and research teams.


  • Apply human-centered design principles to solve complex user problems.


  • Develop solutions aligned with best practices in usability, information architecture, and navigation patterns.


  • Present design work to stakeholders and communicate design rationale clearly.


  • Contribute to design system adoption and maintain consistency across product experiences.


  • Ensure solutions comply with enterprise design standards and risk management policies.




Daily Activities


Using tools such as Figma, Maze, and Jira, the Senior UX Designer will:



  • Define business problems and translate requirements into design solutions


  • Facilitate design workshops and ideation sessions


  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs


  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to break down complex workstreams


  • Participate in research activities and synthesize research findings


  • Create end-to-end member experience journeys


  • Manage workstreams from discovery through delivery


  • Track design tasks and project progress within Jira




Required Experience




  • 6+ years of experience in UX Design, Product Design, or Digital Design


  • Experience leading UX work for large-scale or complex enterprise products


  • Strong experience translating research insights and business needs into user-centered solutions


  • Expertise applying human-centered design methodologies


  • Experience facilitating cross-functional collaboration sessions


  • Strong understanding of information architecture, usability, and interaction design


  • Experience designing responsive web and native mobile interfaces (iOS / Android)




Required Tools & Technologies


Candidates must have experience with:



  • Figma including advanced features such as Auto Layout, Design Systems, and component libraries


  • Maze or similar UX research platforms


  • Jira for project tracking and collaboration




Team & Product Scope


This designer will contribute to Homeowners and Renters insurance products, supporting both:



  • Modernization initiatives


  • Legacy product enhancements


The role requires designing two standalone product experiences that must also function as a cohesive bundled product suite.



Portfolio Requirement


Candidates must submit a portfolio link or PDF demonstrating:



  • Enterprise product design experience


  • Ability to synthesize and apply research insights


  • End-to-end UX process


  • Complex product or system design work
