We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Analytics Developer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities



Design, develop, and maintain high quality Tableau and Power BI dashboards that visually communicate performance trends, operational insights, and business outcomes.



Translate complex datasets into intuitive, visually compelling analytics that enable stakeholders to quickly understand key drivers, risks, and opportunities.



Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and define visualization requirements, including KPIs, metrics, and storytelling approaches.



Create business solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and decision making across operating organizations.



Collaborate with business our data analytics team and IT to ensure data sources, view tables, and models are accurate, performant, and aligned with business definitions.



Gather, document, and validate detailed business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and System Requirement Specifications (SRS).



Develop and maintain system interfaces and business process specifications related to analytics and reporting solutions.



Ensure dashboards follow best practices in visual design, usability, and accessibility, including consistency, clarity, and effective use of color, layout, and interaction.



Required Skills / Experience



2-5 years of demonstrated experience in visual analytics, business intelligence, or data visualization roles.



Strong expertise in visual analytics and data storytelling, with the ability to present insights in a clear, concise, and business focused manner.



Strong visual design sensibility and familiarity with data visualization best practices (e.g., chart selection, layout, hierarchy, and storytelling).



Proven ability to work directly with business users to gather requirements, facilitate discussions, and create user stories that translate business needs into analytics solutions.



Proficiency in Azure DevOps or similar sprint and backlog management tools.



Advanced expertise in Tableau Desktop, including:



Dashboard and worksheet creation



Calculated fields, parameters, and action filters



Data source management and troubleshooting



Performance optimization



Advanced expertise in Power BI, including:



Interactive dashboard and report development



Data modeling and DAX (as applicable)



Report troubleshooting and optimization



Additional Skills (Preferred but Not Required)



Well organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.



Comfortable working directly with both business stakeholders and IT teams.



Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights to technical and non technical audiences.



Experience leading or facilitating requirements gathering and analytics discovery sessions with business users.



Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write, modify, and optimize queries.



Experience publishing and managing interactive dashboards on Tableau Server.



Knowledge of scheduling dashboards and managing automated data refreshes.



Proficiency in data blending and combining multiple data sources into cohesive visual analytics solutions.



Experience testing, cleaning, validating, and standardizing data to meet business and reporting standards.
