As a member of Lockheed Martin's Trident Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Submarine Navigation System team, your efforts will be an integral part to ensuring that our delivered product meets this requirement.

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Engineer. In this role, you will perform requirements analysis and software design, software implementation, and software qualification testing. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of C/C++ and software development lifecycle activities.; This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering

- Experience with C, C++ or Java
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with software versioning system (i.e. Git)
; This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access

Desired skills

- Familiarity with software development environments
- Python
- DOORS
- Software and System level testing experience
- Knowledge of object oriented programming
- User Interface development

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
