Work Arrangement: Mainly remote, onsite first week.
Project Overview The team is consolidating regional Learning Management Systems (LMS) into a centralized academic medical center LMS environment. The BSA will support requirements gathering, process analysis, system integration, testing and coordination between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities - Gather, analyze and document business and system requirements.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate requirements-gathering workshops.
- Analyze current-state processes and help define future-state workflows.
- Identify process gaps, dependencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with developers, technical teams, vendors and business stakeholders.
- Support integrations between LMS platforms and other enterprise systems, including HRIS and Epic-related systems.
- Assist with data mapping, validation and integration requirements.
- Support SIT, UAT, test planning, test cases, defect tracking and issue resolution.
- Maintain project documentation and help coordinate implementation activities.
Required Experience - Strong experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst on enterprise application projects.
- Proven experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
- Experience with current-state/future-state analysis, process mapping and workflow improvement.
- Experience working with technical teams on system implementations or integrations.
- Experience supporting testing, UAT and defect resolution.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Preferred Experience - Healthcare or academic medical center experience.
- LMS platforms, particularly Cornerstone.
- HRIS platforms such as Workday or ADP.
- Epic or other enterprise healthcare applications.
- API integrations, data mapping and system-to-system data flows.
- Experience working on large, complex enterprise implementations.
Ideal Candidate Profile We are looking for a hands-on BSA who can take ownership of requirements and process analysis, work effectively with business and technical teams, and help move a complex integration project forward.
Candidates do not need to be LMS experts if they have strong transferable experience with enterprise implementations, integrations and business analysis. Prioritize people who can clearly explain their personal contributions to projects rather than candidates with primarily project management or coordination experience.
