Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the IT PMO function and establish project governance frameworks, methodologies, standards, and best practices.
  • Manage and oversee the IT project and program portfolio to ensure alignment with business and strategic objectives.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and overall portfolio performance.
  • Facilitate portfolio prioritization, funding decisions, and executive governance reviews.
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboards, KPIs, status reports, and portfolio performance metrics.
  • Drive resource planning, capacity management, and allocation across multiple projects and programs.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate portfolio-level risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with project management processes, organizational policies and audit requirements.
  • Mentor and support project managers, program managers, and PMO staff to improve delivery effectiveness and PM maturity.
  • Partner with IT and business leadership to drive successful delivery of strategic initiatives, continuous process improvement, and benefits realization.

Requirements:

  • 8 years of progressive experience in Information Technology, including project, program, or portfolio management.
  • 3 years of experience leading PMO, project governance, portfolio management, or enterprise project delivery initiatives.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent IT projects and programs throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Experience developing and implementing project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and reporting processes.
  • Experience with project portfolio management, resource planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking.
  • Experience identifying and managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations across multiple initiatives.
  • Experience preparing executive-level status reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Experience using project and portfolio management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Planview, Clarity PPM, ServiceNow PPM, or similar platforms.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring teams while leveraging Agile methodologies, with strong focus on continuous improvement and developing self-organizing teams
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration abilities
  • Experience supporting large-scale cloud, application modernization, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience managing enterprise portfolios exceeding $10 million in annual budgets.
  • Certified ScrumMaster or PMP (Project Management Professional) is a plus

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
