Job Description
We are seeking a Desktop Platform Engineer - Windows Packaging & Engineering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Windows desktop platform engineering, application packaging, virtualization, telemetry, and branch office environments and a proven ability to design and implement next-generation desktop platforms, optimize release workflows, and support enterprise-scale deployments.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement the next-generation Wealth Management desktop platform.
- Engineer solutions using Microsoft Configuration Manager, Flexera AdminStudio, and Microsoft App-V.
- Analyze business use cases and recommend toolsets and designs for each scenario.
- Document engineering designs and operational procedures for platform and packaging tools.
- Execute tasks supporting branch office projects and initiatives in a dispersed environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Expertise in Microsoft Windows 10 desktop operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager for imaging and OS delivery.
- Application packaging with Flexera AdminStudio and virtualization with Microsoft App-V.
- Proficiency in scripting using PowerShell, VBScript, and Perl.
- Experience with telemetry and monitoring tools such as Splunk and Aternity.
- Knowledge of VMware hosted virtual desktop environments.
- Understanding of branch office networking tools, terminology, and dispersed support models.
- Familiarity with release management workflows and toolsets.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in cross-functional or cross-horizontal enterprise programs.
- Prior work with release governance and change enablement in large environments.

- Start: ASAP hire.
- Hours: 8 hours per day. Labor Type: Technical.
