Salesforce QA Engineer/Salesforce Tester (Manual & Automation)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Salesforce QA Engineer with strong expertise in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating Salesforce applications, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to support end-to-end testing initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, testing methodologies, and automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual and automated testing of Salesforce applications including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom implementations.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar technologies.
• Validate integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs and middleware platforms.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure clarity of requirements and test coverage.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Ensure data integrity and validate complex business workflows within Salesforce.
• Support release cycles and production validations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4 8+ years of QA experience, with a strong focus on Salesforce testing.
• Hands-on experience in both manual testing and test automation.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Java/Python, TestNG, or Cucumber.
• Experience testing Salesforce modules such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Lightning Experience.
• Strong knowledge of SOQL, APIs, and data validation techniques.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, HP ALM, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, or QA-related certifications).
• Experience with Provar, Copado, or other Salesforce-specific automation tools.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and test automation in CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
