Description: Our client is currently seeking a Trade Floor Production Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated
Production Engineer to join one of our
automated trading desks. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with trading strategy and infrastructure teams to deploy and support cutting-edge technologies and strategies in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
What You'll Do- Develop and maintain monitoring scripts for production systems and dependencies (Python, Bash, Shell)
- Partner with Platform Engineering to support server imaging, testing, and deployment workflows
- Serve as a technical liaison between trading desks and cross-functional teams (network, security, market data, platform)
- Monitor and support a highly distributed, automated trading system
- Provide multi-level support to traders, quantitative researchers, and strategists
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Linux-based build tools
- Gain hands-on experience with market microstructure, system risk, and trading infrastructure
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Willingness to work on-site 5 days per week
Preferred Qualifications- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Familiarity with financial instruments and markets
- Experience supporting production systems in trading or real-time environments
