Summary

The Manager, Category Management is instrumental in supporting the shaping of our indirect procurement strategy and driving adoption within the organization. The incumbent possesses a strong background in category management, a results-oriented mindset, and a commitment to teamwork and ingenuity, contributing to significant savings and optimized spend.

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
? Manage one to two indirect categories, representing approximately $50M of spend.
? Develop and execute strategic category plans (40% strategic planning, 60% hands-on execution).
? Drive savings initiatives and optimize spend under management.
? Improve procurement cycle times for assigned categories.
? Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of indirect procurement processes.
? Travel globally approximately 10% of the time.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

? Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
? Ability to work effectively in a global, fast-paced environment.
? Demonstrated ability to drive results and influence stakeholders.
? Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
? Experience with Ivalua is a plus.

Typical Experience

? 3-5 years of specific experience in category management.

Typical Education

? Bachelor's degree in related field (Commerce, Engineering), or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
? Educational requirements may vary by geography.
