Job Summary
As a Senior ServiceNow Developer you will play a crucial role in designing implementing and optimizing solutions on the ServiceNow platform to enhance IT service management and operational workflows. You will work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth integration with existing systems. Your expertise will help improve efficiency and innovation in the use of ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

  • Design develop and implement ServiceNow solutions including customizations and integrations
  • Work with stakeholders to gather analyze and refine requirements
  • Customize and configure ServiceNow applications modules and workflows
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the ServiceNow platform
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation including system designs and user guides
  • Mentor junior developers and support team technical growth
  • Stay updated with ServiceNow features and industry best practices
  • Ensure compliance with coding standards security policies and best practices
  • Conduct code reviews and participate in design discussions
  • Perform Service Mapping Discovery and Event Management configurations to improve IT operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science information technology or related field
  • At least 5 years of hands on experience with ServiceNow development and administration
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow APIs JavaScript HTML and CSS
  • Strong understanding of ITSM and ITOM processes including workflows and automation
  • Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM Customer Service Management and Hardware Asset Management
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies
  • ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Application Developer or Implementation Specialist preferred
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
