Job Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Databricks.
• The ideal candidate should be local to Chicago, Illinois and possess extensive experience designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise data solutions.
• This role requires hands-on experience with modern cloud-based data platforms and strong database engineering capabilities.
• Candidates should be comfortable working in a hybrid environment and participating in onsite interviews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise data solutions.
• Build and optimize data pipelines and database architectures.
• Develop and manage solutions using SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Databricks.
• Perform query optimization and database performance tuning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement data solutions.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and integrity across platforms.
• Support production environments and troubleshoot data-related issues.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and data models.
• Contribute throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
