Job Summary
Value Technology is seeking a highly skilled Senior Google Cloud Platform DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Greenfield Cloud Migration projects to design, build, automate, and manage scalable Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, cloud networking, and production-grade cloud operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of overall IT experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
- Proven experience in Greenfield cloud migration projects is mandatory.
- Experience in enterprise-level cloud implementations.
- Strong troubleshooting and automation skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer Certification
- Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Architect Certification
- Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Experience implementing DevSecOps practices
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
Nice to Have
- Experience with SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) practices
- Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization
- Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio
- Familiarity with serverless technologies in Google Cloud Platform
- Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure deployment on Google Cloud Platform
