Position Title :: Application Packaging Engineer SCCM/MECM

Locations :: Phoenix, AZ | Onsite 5 days a week

Job Description:

AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an experienced Application Packaging Engineer to join our growing team in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering secure, reliable, and automated software deployments by customizing application packages and supporting enterprise patch and vulnerability remediation in a regulated financial environment.

Primary skill:

• Customize MSI/EXE packages for software distribution, modify settings, registry keys, and configurations.
• Use tools such as Microsoft SCCM and Intune to deploy software silently without user intervention.
• Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and compatibility testing to ensure applications function within the operating system environment.
• Resolve installation failures, version conflicts, and application issues.
• Update existing packages, manage application lifecycles, and maintain documentation for deployment procedures.
• Secondary skills:
• Administer patch management support for servers, workstations, and enterprise system devices.
• Maintain and manage Incident, Task, and Change support ticket assignments.
• Track and report on related KRIs, SLAs, and vulnerability metrics.
• Coordinate with Business End Users, IT, and Solution Support teams to conduct vulnerability and patch remediation work.
• Design, build, and deploy packaged updates and application installs for vulnerability management.
• Execute EPS project work and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in process and procedure reviews to improve remediation efficiency and system stability.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor s degree in Information Systems or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in application packaging , deployment via MECM and Intune and MECM patching
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Proficiency in application packaging tools (e.g., Admin Studio, MSI Package Builder, Install shield and PSAppDeployToolkit), scripting (PowerShell, VBScript), and command-line tools.
• Strong understanding of Windows 10/11, registry structure, and file system security.
• Experience in patch management tools and processes.
• Working knowledge of tools and platforms such as:
• Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM/MECM/SCCM)
• PowerShell
• Windows OS

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in the Financial-Banking industry or other regulated environments.
