DutiesHelp
- Provides technical support and guidance to staff in matters relating to cyber workforce implementation, sustainment and management.
- Maintains extensive knowledge of the information systems and requirements necessary to support implementation and management of the cyber workforce.
- Develops and maintains strategic plans to support existing and future cyber workforce program initiatives, needs and processes
- Conduct cyber workforce assessments and provides recommendations to support current DoD-I 8140 transition, and evolution, in support of growing the DFAS cyber workforce program.
- Assesses policy needs and develops policies to govern cyber workforce implementation, sustainment and management activities.
- Provides policy guidance to IT management, staff, and customers.

In addition to the Basic Competency Requirements listed above, one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade GS-12 in the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized experience is defined as: Initiating and managing the development, revision, coordination, and/or rescission of policies and procedures; providing guidance to management and/or customers on policy interpretation and determinations; providing analysis of policies and procedures impact to an organization.
