Sr. AEM Developer / AEM Architect

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Build strategies to transition marketer experiences and workflows to Adobe Workfront and Workfront Fusion.
• Manage and host multi-channel experiences within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Design and develop solutions on Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS), including AEM Sites, AEM Assets, and related Adobe Experience Cloud capabilities.
• Provide hands-on development across AEM components, editable templates, workflows, OSGi services, integrations, and custom extensions using Java, Apache Sling, HTL, and modern front-end technologies.
• Design scalable content models, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, taxonomies, and metadata schemas to enable reusable, omnichannel content delivery.
• Lead technical solutioning and architecture for enterprise content management (ECM) and knowledge management use cases.
• Translate business and marketing requirements into technical solution designs, architectural blueprints, specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
• Design robust integrations between AEM and enterprise platforms, REST/GraphQL APIs, search engines, enterprise DAMs, and knowledge repositories.
• Define best practices for content architecture, authoring experience, governance, search/discovery, and end-to-end content lifecycle management.
• Build cloud-native solutions aligned with Cloud Manager CI/CD pipelines, security standards, performance tuning, scalability, and Adobe best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and collaborate across product, content, UX, architecture, and engineering teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Act as a hands-on technical leadrapidly prototyping solutions, conducting code reviews, establishing engineering standards, and mentoring developers.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Define and execute strategies to migrate home-grown marketing workflows to Adobe Workfront/Fusion while orchestrating channel delivery via AEM.
• Architect and oversee enterprise AEM implementations while leveraging broader Adobe Experience Cloud capabilities.
• Provide architectural governance, ensuring high standards of code quality, reusability, and system performance.
• Serve as a technical leader to help establish, scale, and mentor an engineering team over the long term.
• Maintain relevant Adobe certifications (AEM Sites/Assets Developer or Architect).
