Maximo Administrator

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Maximo Administrator to support a Maximo Application Suite (MAS) upgrade project. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in IBM Maximo Administration, hands-on experience with Maximo 7.6 and MAS 9, and strong knowledge of OpenShift and Linux environments. This role will support system configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and upgrade activities in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the upgrade and migration of IBM Maximo from version 7.6 and 9 to 9.1.

  • Install, configure, and administer Maximo Application Suite (MAS) environments.

  • Deploy and manage Maximo applications on OpenShift containers.

  • Perform system administration, configuration, and troubleshooting for Maximo environments.

  • Work with Linux-based servers for installation, monitoring, and maintenance.

  • Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and development teams during the upgrade process.

  • Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues, bugs, and environment-related challenges.

  • Maintain documentation of configurations, upgrades, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in IBM Maximo Administration.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Maximo 7.6 and Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 9.

  • Experience supporting Maximo upgrades and migrations.

  • Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and containerized environments.

  • Strong experience with Linux administration (Red Hat or similar).

  • Experience troubleshooting enterprise-level Maximo environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience deploying MAS on OpenShift or Kubernetes platforms.

  • Knowledge of Maximo integrations, automation scripts, and cron tasks.

  • Experience with enterprise databases such as DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Additional Details:

  • 100% Remote role

  • Contract: 6 months

  • Immediate start preferred
