Data Application for Pharma Process Engineering
Duration: 6 - 12 months/Onsite role / Hybrid is likely okay, but final decision is with Manager
Location – Vacaville, CA
Role: Data Engineer & Software Developer
Tools & Technologies: SQL, Oracle DB, R (Shiny), C#, React
Domain: Pharmaceutical / Process Engineering
Overview:
Led the development of a data-driven application to support process engineering activities in a pharmaceutical setting. The project focused on building robust data pipelines and interactive dashboards to monitor and visualize process flow data, integrating engineering tools and pharma-specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Designed and implemented end-to-end data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from Oracle databases using SQL.
• Built interactive data applications using R (Shiny) and C#, enabling engineers to analyze and visualize production metrics.
• Collaborated closely with process engineers to digitize and represent process flow diagrams, including tank-level monitoring and real-time process data integration.
• Developed web-based tools using React for visualizing complex system interactions and process flow.
• Ensured data integrity and scalability for pharma-grade applications, complying with relevant quality standards.
• Contributed to 80% of the data engineering workload, interfacing with software development and pharma process optimization.
