Senior AI Developer (Azure AI)

Location: Bay City, TX (Onsite, Mon Thurs, 4x10 Schedule)

Employment: Contract / Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $75/hr on W2

We are seeking a Senior AI Developer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions that enhance business operations across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong Python development skills, hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure AI technologies, and expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, and cloud-based application development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy AI applications, copilots, chatbots, and workflow automation solutions.
• Build Generative AI and RAG-based solutions using Azure OpenAI and enterprise data sources.
• Design APIs and backend services to support AI integrations and business processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions.
• Optimize, support, and maintain production AI applications while following security and governance best practices.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Strong Python programming expertise.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, Prompt Engineering, Generative AI, and SQL databases.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar frameworks.
• RAG architecture, vector databases, Azure ML, MLOps, and AI chatbot development.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with ERP or enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Power Platform, or Microsoft Copilot Studio.
