Position: Senior Agile Coach – Product Engineering
Location: LA Area, California (Travel is OK for remote candidates)
Duration: 3+Months
Role Summary
Seeking an experienced Senior Agile Coach for a short-term onsite engagement to coach and enable the Product Engineering organization. The focus is on improving Agile maturity, Product–Engineering collaboration, delivery predictability, and establishing sustainable Agile practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Assess current Agile practices and identify improvement opportunities.
• Coach Product Owners, Engineering Leaders, Scrum Masters, and delivery teams.
• Improve backlog management, sprint planning, prioritization, ceremonies, retrospectives, and delivery predictability.
• Conduct hands-on Agile workshops and coaching during active delivery cycles.
• Establish practical metrics around velocity, flow, cycle time, throughput, and predictability.
• Develop an Agile playbook and 60–90-day improvement roadmap to sustain practices after the engagement.
Required Experience
• 12+ years of technology/product delivery experience with significant Agile coaching experience.
• Strong experience coaching Product/Software Engineering teams.
• Ability to work with both delivery teams and senior Product/Engineering leadership.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and scaled Agile practices.
• Healthcare or regulated-industry experience preferred.
• Onsite availability is required.
Certifications
Senior-level Agile certifications required/preferred, such as:
• ICP-ACC / ICP-ATF
• CSP-SM / CSP-PO
• SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC)
• Advanced Scrum.org certifications
