This a senior level position responsible for leading a variety of engineering activities including the design,
acquisition and deployment of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the
Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead efforts to ensure quality standards are being
met within existing and planned framework.
- Responsibilities:
- Administer and engineer aspects of Developer Platform Services including Confluence, Jira, AI/ML platforms, enterprise applications, and related technologies.
- Analyze technical needs, document requirements, design and implement technical solutions leveraging AI and machine learning capabilities.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for administering and troubleshooting enterprise applications and AI-powered platforms.
- Provide troubleshooting steps and operational documentation to Level 1/2 support team.
- Integrate AI-driven solutions into existing infrastructure, consult on development projects, deploy solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
- Design, develop, and deploy micro-services, REST APIs, and AI/ML model-serving endpoints for public cloud.
- Lead adoption and integration of AI tools such as large language models (LLMs), AI coding assistants, and intelligent automation platforms across engineering teams.
- Automate repetitive tasks, tests, and manual activities using AI-assisted scripting and languages like Python, PowerShell, NodeJS, and shell script.
- Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Delivery tools like Jenkins, Maven, Harness, and GitHub, including AI-enhanced CI/CD pipelines.
- Evaluate and implement AI/ML technologies, tools, and services and make recommendations based on security/compliance, financial, and operational criteria.
- Understanding of vendor licensing models and deployment best practices for AI and cloud services.
- Evaluate, test, and install critical updates on a regular basis.
- Detect and troubleshoot technical problems using AI-powered observability and diagnostic tools.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-team environment.
- 7+ years' experience in system engineering and 3+ years' cloud engineering; considered a subject matter expert in developer platform services and AI integration.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks, LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI-powered developer tools.
- Accountable for successful completion of multiple, individual projects simultaneously.
- Communicate effectively by contributing significantly to the development and delivery of a variety of written and visual documents for diverse audiences.
- Excellent technical troubleshooting and process implementation skills.
- Exceptional customer service and team collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with permission groups and permission management across Jira projects and Confluence spaces.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in information systems, computer science, or related field.
- Cloud Certification.
